To sort TikTok videos by likes, open a creator’s profile in desktop Chrome, choose a collection range in FeedRama, and select Most Likes. The results rank collected posts by like count. This is a useful starting point when you want to study audience approval rather than simply choose the videos with the largest view counts.
Try the workflow in Chrome
Use FeedRama on a supported Instagram or TikTok page, and check the available range and actions in your account.
Add FeedRama to ChromeFind the most-liked TikToks in a profile
- Install FeedRama from the Chrome Web Store in desktop Chrome, then reload the Instagram or TikTok tab.
- Open the creator’s profile on tiktok.com and its video grid. Use a profile page rather than search results or a single video.
- In FeedRama, choose a post count or an available date window. Select Most Likes and start sorting.
- Review any collection warning, then inspect the highest-ranked posts. Keep the same range when comparing another account.
The TikTok feed sorter also offers Most Views, Most Comments, Most Shares, Most Saves, and Oldest. Pick the metric that answers your question. To study distribution first, use the most-viewed TikTok workflow.
Likes and views can tell different stories
| Question | Useful starting metric | Check next |
|---|---|---|
| What reached the most viewers? | Views | Whether the topic fits your audience |
| What received the most likes? | Likes | Views and post age |
| What started a conversation? | Comments | The substance of the comments |
| What people passed along? | Shares, when available | Context and type of content |
A hypothetical video with 5,000 likes and 100,000 views has a 5% likes-to-views ratio. One with 8,000 likes and 400,000 views has a 2% ratio. Most Likes puts the second video first; the ratio highlights the first. These are illustrative numbers, not FeedRama customer results or universal performance benchmarks.
Calculate a ratio without overclaiming
When export is available, save the TikTok data to CSV and divide Likes by Views in your spreadsheet. For the standard export columns, Likes is D and Views is E, so a row formula is =IF(E2>0,D2/E2,""). Format the result as a percentage.
Calculate it only when both figures are actually available. Missing data or a zero placeholder is not evidence of poor performance. This is a likes-to-views ratio, not a measure of unique viewers, total engagement, or conversion. Compare posts of similar age when possible.
Turn the sorted list into a research shortlist
Watch a few high-like posts and a few middle-of-the-list posts. Record the opening line, topic, demonstration, and call to action. Looking at both groups helps you identify what is distinctive instead of attributing success to a style the creator uses everywhere.
Use transcripts to compare spoken openings when that feature is available. A transcript does not capture on-screen text, editing rhythm, or facial expression, so pair it with viewing the video. Write an original concept from what you learn.
Available ranges and actions depend on your account. Check current access and pricing and the limits shown in the extension before a large job. A completed sort describes the posts collected in that run; it does not prove that every post ever published was retrieved.
Why your results may not match a different session
Engagement counts change, and collection scopes differ. A sort of the latest 25 posts is not an all-time ranking. A partial run, inaccessible post, or missing metric can change the sample. Record the account, collection date, selected range, and number retrieved before using the ranking in a report.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sort someone else’s TikTok videos by likes?
FeedRama can rank collected posts from a supported profile you can access. Open the profile in desktop Chrome, choose a range, and select Most Likes. It does not provide access to hidden posts.
Does Most Likes mean most viral?
Not necessarily. Likes measure one response to a post, while views measure a different part of its performance. A high like count alone does not establish unusual performance relative to the creator’s normal results.
Can I sort by likes-to-views ratio in FeedRama?
The sorter offers raw metrics such as Most Likes and Most Views. Calculate a ratio separately in a spreadsheet using exported, available values; do not assume there is a built-in ratio sort.
Can I find an account’s most-liked video ever?
Only if your collection includes the relevant history. A limited or partial sample supports a most-liked-in-this-sample conclusion, not an all-time claim.
Why do two researchers get different rankings?
They may collect different date windows, post counts, or content, and the metrics may change between sessions. Compare the collection scope and timestamps before comparing rankings.
