How to Sort TikTok Videos by Shares

To sort TikTok videos by shares with FeedRama, open a creator’s profile in desktop Chrome, choose a collection scope, and select Most Shares. The result ranks collected posts by available share counts. Use it to choose videos for closer research, not as proof of who shared a post or why they did so.

Try the workflow in Chrome

Use FeedRama on a supported Instagram or TikTok page, and check the available range and actions in your account.

Find the most-shared posts in your sample

  1. Install FeedRama from the Chrome Web Store in desktop Chrome, then reload the Instagram or TikTok tab.
  2. Open the TikTok profile grid and choose a count or available date window.
  3. Choose Most Shares, then start the sort.
  4. Read the collection status and inspect the leading posts. Record the sample size and collection date.

This is a TikTok metric in FeedRama. Do not assume the same shares control exists for Instagram. The TikTok sorter describes the supported profile workflow.

Ask what the viewer would send to someone

Watch the highest-ranked posts and write down the likely use of sharing: a practical instruction, a joke for a friend, a product reference, or a point of disagreement. These are hypotheses from the content, not information about individual viewers.

Content patternQuestion to investigate
A clear how-toIs there a step someone would want to keep or send?
A specific relatable situationWho would recognize it?
A product demonstrationDoes it answer a purchase question?
A controversial claimAre shares likely to reflect agreement or criticism?

A share count alone cannot distinguish those motives. Avoid describing every highly shared post as universally liked.

Compare shares with views carefully

If the values are available, a spreadsheet can show shares divided by views. In the standard TikTok export, Shares is H and Views is E; an illustrative row formula is =IF(E2>0,H2/E2,""). Check the headers before applying it, and format the result as a percentage.

Use CSV export where available. Missing share counts may be represented by a fallback value, so verify the data rather than treating every zero as observed. The ratio is not unique sharers, reach, or sales.

Turn a finding into an original concept

Choose one practical reason someone might share your next video. Build an original example around that use rather than copying the reference’s wording. Compare it with your own usual results after a consistent observation period.

Keep likes and views as separate lenses. A useful final note might be “this demonstration was highly shared within the recent sample,” followed by the exact scope and your proposed explanation.

Frequently asked questions

Can FeedRama sort TikTok by shares?

Yes. Most Shares ranks available share counts in the collected profile sample. Choose a scope and inspect the completion status.

Can I see who shared a video?

This workflow uses aggregate post metrics. It does not identify individual people who shared the content.

Is a share proof that someone liked the video?

No. Sharing can have different motives. Inspect the content and treat explanations as hypotheses.

Does Instagram have the same control in FeedRama?

Shares is a TikTok-only sort option in the current FeedRama interface. Do not transfer that claim to Instagram.

Can I calculate a share rate?

You can calculate a shares-to-views ratio in a spreadsheet when both values are available. State the formula and sample, and do not label it unique-user behavior.
