To download a TikTok photo slideshow with FeedRama, open the photo post in desktop Chrome and choose Download. Multi-image posts are saved as a ZIP of images; a single image can be saved on its own. The output is a set of photos, not a new MP4 with the slideshow’s music attached.
Try the workflow in Chrome
Use FeedRama on a supported Instagram or TikTok page, and check the available range and actions in your account.
Add FeedRama to ChromeChoose the method that fits your device
TikTok’s download guidance describes saving photos in its app when the creator allows downloading. If you want image files for a desktop research folder, FeedRama provides an on-page workflow. Use content you own or are permitted to save.
| Need | Route | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Save photos on a phone | TikTok’s available photo-save option | Photos on your device |
| Review a photo post on a computer | FeedRama on the individual post | Image or multi-image ZIP |
| Save a video post | Video download workflow | Video file |
| Keep the caption and numbers | Separate CSV export | Post data, not slideshow media |
Download a TikTok photo post on desktop
- Install FeedRama from the Chrome Web Store in desktop Chrome, then reload the Instagram or TikTok tab.
- Open the actual photo post on tiktok.com. Photo-post URLs may contain /photo/; do not replace that segment with /video/.
- Use the post’s FeedRama Download control. Wait for the file to finish saving in your browser.
- Extract a multi-image ZIP. Compare the first, middle, and final images with the post and check the total slide count.
If the post is a video rather than a photo sequence, use the TikTok video download guide for PC and Mac. The TikTok downloader works with available source media; it does not turn every post format into a movie.
Why the music is not in the image files
A slideshow combines images with playback behavior inside TikTok. Downloading those images does not encode the timing, transitions, or soundtrack into them. A JPEG cannot contain a playable soundtrack. Keep the source URL if you need to revisit the presentation.
If you are reconstructing your own slideshow, use your original images and an editor, and add audio you are authorized to use. Do not expect renaming the ZIP to MP4 to create a video. The repurposing guide covers planning a separate edit.
Preserve the order and the context
Extract the files into a folder named for the creator and post. Keep the numbered filenames so the narrative remains readable: introduction, examples, and final slide. Add the post URL and collection date to your notes before renaming anything.
A photo-only reference loses the caption and engagement context. If those matter to your research, export the post data to a spreadsheet separately. Use that sheet to record why you selected the post, such as a clear opening promise or useful step-by-step sequence.
What to check when a photo download fails
First verify that the individual photo post opens normally. A removed post, login requirement, or unavailable media source cannot be fixed by changing the filename. Reload the post after enabling the extension, then try one download before starting a batch.
If you only received a thumbnail, check that you chose Download rather than Cover. For a failed ZIP or interrupted job, use the download troubleshooting guide and keep the original URL so you can retry the correct post.
Frequently asked questions
Can I download TikTok slideshow pictures?
FeedRama can save available photo-post images on desktop. Multiple images are packaged into a ZIP so you can extract and inspect each slide. Verify the order and count against the original post.
Will a TikTok photo download include the music?
The image download does not create a video with music. It preserves image files. Keep the original post link to review the soundtrack and pacing on TikTok.
Why did I get a ZIP instead of an MP4?
The source was a photo carousel. A ZIP holds its separate images; an MP4 is a video format. Extract the ZIP rather than renaming its extension.
Can I save one photo without downloading a whole profile?
Yes. Open the individual photo post and use its Download control. You do not need to sort or collect the creator’s profile first.
Can I use the photos in my own content?
Use your own photos or get the creator’s permission for the intended reuse. A successful download does not tell you whether a particular reuse is allowed.
